# Introduction

Welcome to the **WED Imagineering University Program**, a pathway to many different opportunities we provide on Roblox.

To get started, let's review the process so you know what to expect on your road to becoming a certified ride operator.

#### 1. <mark style="color:blue;">Application process</mark> -> apply in the hub

Submit your application at a Guest Relations tent in our [Hub](https://roblox.com/games/4895128840) game and wait 24-48 hours for your application status to update.

The standard response time for applications is typically between 24-48 hours. This can increase in case of high demand or overflow. Whilst we aim to provide a response within this timeframe, if not sooner, there may be occasions when this is not feasible.

Asking for your application to be reviewed or hinting towards such will result in your application being rejected. Repeated incidents will lead to a blacklist, meaning you will be banned from applying. However, it is acceptable to inquire about your application status if it has been pending for over one week.

The use of **generative artificial intelligence** or resources that **artificially** **enhance** your application do not allow us to accurately assess your capabilities or performance. **You will be blacklisted if you are found to have used generative artificial intelligence to assist with your application.**

If your application is <mark style="background-color:green;">accepted</mark>, you'll be automatically ranked and given access to the `University` category in our Discord server.

If your application is <mark style="background-color:red;">declined</mark>, your application did not meet our criteria to be admitted to the university programme. The comment section will contain the reason that your application was rejected. If you would like more information, you may open a [#guest-relations](https://discord.com/channels/301715666401230851/1006578052958003331) ticket to speak to the application team.

#### 2. <mark style="color:orange;">Hands-on training</mark> -> book a training session

The members of our Leadership Team will be upfront about their training schedules, when they host large group trainings, or one-on-one / small group trainings. You should respect and understand the commitment of these individuals and not ask or hint the request of a training.

Please ensure that you are available for **at least** an hour and a half (1.5 hours) from the **training start time** as reserving a spot prevents another student from attending.

* If you fail to attend a training that you have booked, and do not cancel, a no-show strike will be applied.
* If you cancel within an hour of a training, or leave a training in the first 90 minutes, a late cancellation strike will be applied.

You will be notified via the training portal each time a strike is applied. Your booking rights will be suspended for a pre-defined duration (see below).

You may request to appeal any attendance strikes for any important/urgent reasons by opening a [#cast-relations](https://discord.com/channels/301715666401230851/1006578052958003331) ticket.&#x20;

N.B.: Appeals may be denied for any or no reason.

Once you exceed four strikes, you will be ranked back to Pixie Dust Passholder and must restart the application process; neither your certifications or points will be reset.<br>

Please be aware that all incidents where strikes are issued are automatically logged.

#### 3. <mark style="color:green;">Certification completed</mark> -> receive your certification upon passing your training

Your certification is awarded **upon completing and passing** your <mark style="color:orange;">hands-on training</mark>. Whether you pass your training is determined solely by the host/trainer and with the following specified requirements:

* Complete practical rotations through each panel (with supervision)
* No non-trivial mistakes during your practical assessment
